On 1 February 2010 Pavel Vlček was appointed the head of the press department.
Pavel Vlček becomes the new MIT press spokesman
The new press spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) is Pavel Vlček (31), who was appointed the head of the Ministry’s press department on 1 February. He takes over from Tomáš Bartovský, who has decided to go into the private sector. Pavel Vlček comes to the MIT from Citibank, where as Public Affairs Officer he was in charge of the external and internal communication of the bank’s Czech branch. He formerly worked as a journalist for the publishing houses Economia and Motor—Presse Bohemia. He studied Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague. He also completed a one—year internship at the Ludwig—Maximilians—Universität in Munich and at the London School of Public Relations.
