The fourth meeting of the European Nuclear Energy Forum (ENEF) organised, under the patronage of the Czech Prime Minister, by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. ENEF is mandated to provide a roadmap for the continued development of nuclear energy in the Community and will promote an inclusive, transparent and professional debate on the key contribution that nuclear makes to the EU’s energy future.
Discussions will focus on three main topics: the opportunities of nuclear (financing, technologies, new build), the risks of nuclear (safety, security, waste management), and information and transparency (public acceptance). ENEF is held on a rota basis in Prague and Bratislava and organized by the European Commission in cooperation with the Czech and Slovak governmental bodies.
